Another delightful offering from the Australian Red Cross – you would never guess that this fabulous little vintage shop is not for profit.  I’m guessing this Red Cross outpost has the luxury of being more selective than other stores, and you get to reap the benefits.  Prices are higher than you would expect to find at your average op-shop, but I guess that’s the premium one must pay for the convenience and quality offered by the Red Cross on Brunswick Street.  The collection consists, predominantly of clothing, shoes, accessories, a smattering of homewares and some vinyl records thrown in for good measure.

I’m am often impressed by the standard of Australian Red Cross stores and the one on Brunswick Street is a gem!  The energy and attention to detail goes above and beyond what you would expect in a not for profit store.  Red Cross stores often have sales, making the already affordable prices even more irresistible – best of all the proceeds go towards supporting the Australian Red Cross.  The fitout is no frills but the high quality stock is decoration enough.  Definitely add this vintage store to your (ever-increasing) list to visit next time you’re on Brunswick Street.
