You will find the St George’s Parish Bargain Op Shop amongst the hustle and bustle of Racecourse Rd in Flemington. Behind the lovely Victorian facade you will find a miscellany of goods including books, clothing, children’s wear, furniture, homewares, linen, baskets, VHS, records, belts, ties, hats, wallets, shoes, games – even a backgammon set.
This store is not for profit and the prices are very affordable so you can go nuts and not burn too large a hole in your pocket!

Description
This West-side outpost of the Savers conglomerate is a whopper. The collection of stock is huge, they even had a dedicated Halloween costume section when I visited. Like all good secondhand megastores the Footscray Savers has an air of organised chaos, the sense of chaos was probably compounded by the hoards of people looking for Halloween costumes. The stock here includes clothing, furniture, hats, shoes, bags, toys, homewares, sports equipment, records, books, belts, ties, sunglasses, jewellery and electrical goods.

Beyond the lack lustre facade you will find clothing, homewares, toys, VHS, DVDs, sporting goods, records, books, haberdashery, hats, bags, belts and loads more. As you would expect at a country op shop such is this the prices are low and the quality of stock varies.

Description
I recently stumbled upon this secondhand store in Windsor and was pleasantly surprised by what I found inside. The fit out is decidedly no frills but for those with a keen eye and a willingness to do a little rummaging there is gold to be found in amongst the clutter. The hodgepodge collection includes clothing, glassware, crockery, hats, jewellery boxes, furniture, globes, framed artwork, vases, records and lots of lamps.

Description
The Salvos on Smith Street is definitely one of the more vibrant Salvos stores I’ve been to. Presumably the fit-out was inherited from whatever retail space had previously tenanted the space giving this store a bit of a head start as far as visual merchandising is concerned. The collection is well presented and includes clothes, homewares, bags, hats, belts, artwork, jewellery, shoes, books and much more.
