I have walked passed this store a number of times but had never gone inside.  This was because I believed Episode stocked mostly new products, which was the case until recently.  Now, it seems, the folks at Episode have shifted their focus to selling solely vintage wears – very pleasing!  The collection at Episode Vintage is quite vast and includes men’s and women’s clothing (cycling tops, bomber jackets, leather jackets, shirts, skirts, dresses, jumpers, coats), bags, wallets, scarfs, shoes, homewares, sewing machines, hats and a small collection of furniture.  The rear of the store appears to be a work in progress but I’m sure that will be sorted out over the coming weeks/months as Episode transitions to full vintage mode.

Given the quality of stock, Episode is very reasonably priced, especially when compared with some of its vintage neighbours along Smith Street.  The store could do with a little bit of sprucing up – having said that the bare bones of the store, with its exposed brick, green tiled floor and high ceilings, are great as is.  If you are looking for something to keep you warm this winter pop in to check out their great range of coats, jackets and jumpers.
