$$ Price guide: mid-range
I recently stumbled upon this secondhand store in Windsor and was pleasantly surprised by what I found inside. The fit out is decidedly no frills but for those with a keen eye and a willingness to do a little rummaging there is gold to be found in amongst the clutter. The hodgepodge collection includes clothing, glassware, crockery, hats, jewellery boxes, furniture, globes, framed artwork, vases, records and lots of lamps.
The name, Furniture & Antiques, is certainly uninspiring but don’t let that deter you from exploring the quirky collection on offer in store. The collection of stock is small but varied and I thoroughly enjoyed fossicking through it. There were some lovely ceramic and glass items if you are in the market for such things. This store is no frills and stock is priced accordingly. While it’s probably not worth crossing town to visit Furniture and Antiques I will definitely pop in next time I’m in the area.
