Hello Sailor Vintage Fair – Melbourne Central

Last weekend I popped into Melbourne Central to check out the Hello Sailor Vintage Fair.  Clustered at the base of the Shot Tower was an array of vintage stalls each selling a variety of wares including sunglasses, belts, shoes, bags, hats, scarfs, jewellery, dresses, jumpers, jackets, skirts, shirts and much more.  The vast majority of the items for sale were for women, but there was also a smattering of men’s shirts and jackets.

Before visiting the Hello Sailor Vintage Fair I told myself  I was just going to look but not buy – and I came home with two new vintage dresses, so much for self-restraint!  These dresses (one from Grandma Funk and the other from I Wish I was a Hippie) will be posted on VM in due course.  There were so many delightful things on offer at the fair that it proved too hard to resist.  I would highly recommend checking out the next Hello Sailor Vintage Fair which will be held at Yah Yah’s (99 Smith Street, Fitzroy) on the 30th of June.
