Description
The Salvos on Smith Street is definitely one of the more vibrant Salvos stores I’ve been to. Presumably the fit-out was inherited from whatever retail space had previously tenanted the space giving this store a bit of a head start as far as visual merchandising is concerned. The collection is well presented and includes clothes, homewares, bags, hats, belts, artwork, jewellery, shoes, books and much more.
The Verdict
Unfortunately the folks at the Chapel Street Salvos weren’t keen on photos being taken in store so the only relevant photos I have are of the items I purchased there. The first item is an adorable Mayfair & Jackson cup, I had previously bought three from the Salvos on Smith St and by chance found a forth piece to add to my collection. The second item is a framed print of Paris, which I snapped up for $20.
